People wearing period clothing participate in the annual vintage subway train ride on in New York City. The yearly tradition of Holiday Nostalgia Rides, in its 20th year and hosted by the New York Transit Museum, puts into operation 1930 R1/9 train cars between 2nd Avenue and Houston Street on the uptown F line, and 96th Street and 2nd Avenue on the Q line. |
