The Dimocrats tried to deal on a bi-partisan basis with the GQP during the bail out process and met with nothing but partisan bickering and nonsense. So Dimocrats have decided to use the �Fast Track� or �reconciliation� process in order to get things done in a timely manner without GQP partisan filibusters and finger pointing. The Repuglicans are outraged.

�Fast-tracking a major legislative overhaul such as health care reform or a new national energy tax without the benefit of a full and transparent debate does a disservice to the American people,� Moscow Mitch McConnell said in a statement.

�And it would make it absolutely clear they (Dimocrats) intend to carry out their plans on a purely partisan basis,� Moscow Mitch said.

Oddly enough these guys had no trouble with the process when they used it to push through their agendas over the eight years of Duh-bya. Personally I wish the Dimocrats would go one further and simply do this with all legislation and quit fooling around with the GQP altogether.
