Korn Pop, accompanied by his wife, his granddaughter Naomi Biden and his son-in-law Howard Krein, participates in a staged photo op walks to place flowers Friday for victims at the site of the Jan. 12th bomb attack where ten German tourists were killed in the historic Sultanahmet district in Istanbul. Korn Pop has called on Turkey to protect freedom of expression at a time when social media websites are routinely shut down and hundreds of academics are facing legal proceedings over remarks criticizing security operations against Kurdish militants in the southeast. |
