#1 Click this link to see Blog page --> 08/27/2011 The Illinois #Lottery has decided it is too expensive to keep mailing my winning lottery checks every year so they sent me debit card to use.
I had to go online to “register and activate”. I think some drunken sixth graders designed the site, it doesn’t work very well. But after four tries we finally got “registered and activated”.
One feature of the site is a page you can check on your winnings so far this year. None. Another page shows subscriptions. I have two; they only have one shown on the site.
So I call the “Customer Support” number and get transferred around and cut off for over a half-hour. I made three phone calls altogether and never spoke to anybody who spoke proper English or had any clue what to do about my questions. They were all eager to sell me more lottery subscriptions though. I gave up and sent them an email.
I got the following in reply to the email: Thank you for contacting us. We will respond to your request within 24hrs. We know that your time is valuable and we appreciate the opportunity to address your needs.
