We stopped for a late lunch at #OliveGarden in Peoria yesterday and were pleasantly surprised to see a small computer tablet at every table. You can now do some ordering right from your table. Not everything is available on the tablet but you can notify the server you need a drink refill or to come to the table. Tracey used it to pay our bill —— it has a card reader built into it. Finally getting with last century’s technology!

The waitress at #OliveGarden screwed up our bill. The bill she gave us at the table was correct but she entered the wrong one into the credit card kiosk at the table. Tracey paid with her watch and it worked perfectly. Unfortunately she paid for someone else.

Noah and I went on out to the car (because Tracey didn’t want me to handle it) and a while later she managed to join us. So now we have two payments and a credit. Hopefully it will all work out without further intervention. Just our luck I guess.
