OAKLAND, CA - In grainy cell-phone videos played over and over on the Internet, police officers force an unarmed black man to the ground and hold him face down on a crowded train platform. Suddenly one of the officers draws his gun and fatally shoots the man in the back - then looks up.
The New Years Day murder death of 22-year-old Oscar Grant has led to violent street protests amid allegations from the familys attorney that some of the officers used racial slurs.
Well it looks like Quinn and the Madigans will finally get to usurp our elected Governor. I never really liked Baloneyvich all that well, but I DO understand they really have no grounds to impeach him at least no more than they had two years ago when they started talking about it.
Lisa and Daddy want to run the State and they know they can do that through the spineless Lt. Gov.
The Federal prosecutor arrested #RodBaloneyvich so he would have a high profile case and wouldnt get replaced by the new administration. This Fed. hasnt enough evidence to indict or prosecute so he has to ask for an extension to coerce more evidence and testimony. God Bless America.

I just have to get this off my chest and I figured you wouldnt mind!
Daves health insurance benefits changed Jan. 1st. (of course!)Same company just more out of our pocket. We did pick the enhanced plan, but with Andy and Daves medical issues, I thought a lower deductible, less up front at the drs., etc. would be better for us.
I had a RUDE AWAKENING at the pharmacy last night! I guess I didnt read EVERYTHING that goes along with the new benefits!
2008...4 bottles of insulin...$25.00 2009...4 bottles of insulin...$72.00
Needless to say, Blue Cross Blue Shield OF MICHIGAN is going to be hearing from me on Monday! That is ridiculous! I cant imagine how much it would of been if we hadnt chose the enhanced plan!
Im sure that I am going to be told to use THEIR mail order pharmacy to get it cheaper. I HATE mail order stuff! I dont have extra $$ just hanging out and I dont like using credit cards! I want to be able to go to Kmart on a Friday night and buy my own drugs with cash!
I live on a weekly budget and it doesnt work well with mail order. Im almost positive that a person in Michigan isnt going to like me very well on Monday!
Ok, I feel a tiny bit better now..........
Were off to see the Harlem Globetrotters this afternoon. Dave won 4 tickets from 93.3 (the drive) over xmas break. Not my first pick of things to do on Sat. afternoon, but they were free and I might be entertained some. And, oh yea, that white stuff outside can just go away too!
I think Ive filled my quota of gripes for Sat. already!
Have a good one!

Hi Tammy Wow but you sound upset! I dont blame you. The whole medical insurance thing is such a rotten deal and it doesnt look to get better either. We were offered an HMO choice for the first time this year and after spending about an hour on their website it looked to me like it was worse than what we have so I kept what we have. I never got to the fine print though Im sure.
I used to LOVE the Globetrotters! I would argue with Dad to could watch them on TV even though many of the routines were ages old. Hope you have a great time!

I know...we used to watch the GT all the time on tv. Remember Curly? I just hope its not too modernized or something. I think I could use a laugh today.
Ill let you know how it was.

Were back from the Globetrotters. They were funny and entertaining. We were only 9 rows up from the court so they were pretty good seats. Im not sure that they were as funny and entertaining as when we were young, but a FREE fun-filled few hours anyway. (free being the best word!)

Glad you had a good time! We just got back from eating out with Mom and DD. Our waiter at the Cracked Barrel was pretty good so all is well with us!
