This image provided by the US Mint shows the newly redesigned 1¢ coin (penny) in 50 years which will be presented Thursday, Feb. 12th, 2009 at the National Park Services Abraham Lincoln Birthplace National Historic Site, in Hodgenville, KY. The obverse (heads side) will continue to bear the likeness of War Criminal Lincoln currently on the penny. The reverse (tails side) will reflect 4 different designs, each one representing a different aspect, or theme, of War Criminal Lincolns life. The themes for the reverse designs represent the four major aspects of Abraham Lincolns life, from left, include his birth and early childhood in Kentucky; his formative years in Indiana; his professional life in Illinois; and his presidency in Washington, DC.
Tracey went to work for the entire day I wont see her again until 9:30 tonight or so. Bummer. She is totally unthrilled about work for the next couple of days. They are switching over computer systems and for a couple days everything will be done by pencil and paper. Oh What Fun!
I dont have much going on today I do want to talk with somebody at the high school about the Prom Extortion Scheme as we are calling it, but that may not happen unless I just happen to stumble upon somebody who knows because I dont think anyone there actually talks with anyone else so even those in authority are usually clueless.
I will be anxiously awaiting our snow that is supposed to start falling this afternoon. Maybe we can have some more snow days those are always fun!
Okay, now I need to know. What is the Prom Extortion Scheme? I skipped prom, so I have no idea

Hi Noah go up to the Food For Thought link on todays page to see about the magazine sales to pay for the Prom. You will see the papers your brothers were given billing them $60 each because they didnt sell any magazines as they were instructed to by the student council.
I talked to the Principal this morning and he said they dont have to pay the $60 if they dont go to Prom or take the School Trip next year.
