We made plans for Tracey to ride her scooter to Decatur today but the weather is not cooperating. Oh Well —— At least she has the bracket installed so she can use the GPS from here on out. She has to spend the day in doing an audit of the clinic there in Decatur.

Good morning...well it’s morning anyway! Back to school for Ashley and I since our spring break is now over.
Ever heard of “refreshing a tv”? It was a new one to me! Last night, Dave tried to watch his program and the channel was a blue blank screen. After searching the internet to see if Comcast had changed the channel lineup, I found a Live Chat with Comcast. So, I chatted with Reginald.
He told me to “turn the unit off, unplug it for 1 minute to refresh it, and then plug the unit back in.” I felt like a Conehead fixing their “unit”! Anyway, it didn’t work--dah! So I called them.
A very nice lady told me that I had to schedule an appt. with a technician. They had openings of from 8-12 or 1-5 every day this week. I told her that I could be home at 3:30 on. She then said we could do a Sat., but we may have to do without those channels.
I asked her what would happen if I scheduled a 1-5 and took my chances that I’d get home before he showed up? She said that if he came before I was here, I’d have to reschedule.
I thought...hmm...ok, I’ll take my chances and just call and reschedule every day if need be. HOW DUMB! Besides, it’s not our tv. She told me another customer had already called. He had been watching channel 25 and it went out. I’ll let you know who “wins” today!

I feel for you Tammy. I can’t understand how a multi-billion dollar operation can’t hire enough people to schedule the service of their equipment in a timely manner. Just another result of cable monopoly.
SAY! Tracey just discovered our DirecTV doesn’t have channel 25! She went into the DirecTV menu and had to re-select it to see it. Do you have a menu where you have to set up your favorite channels or something? Good luck!

Well, low and behold, the channels have reappeared! I had Dave check at 6:30 before he left. I guess I won’t need a cable guy today after all....imagine that!
It just irked me that I couldn’t make an appt. of between 3:30 and 5 instead of 1 and 5.
I’m soooo glad to see the sun! I wish it would be here to stay. I’m tired of a liquid basement.
